I really enjoyed experimenting with off-camera flash after becoming immersed with David Hobby's Strobist movement. For this shot Abby placed a flash between her legs with a 3/4 CTO (Colour Temperature Orange) gel and Honl 1/8 grid attached. The head was angled towards the pages of the book which then bounced back into Abby's face.
